Hyundai has finally reveled the official rendered image of the upcoming new generation Santro, which is internally codenamed as AH2. The rendered image indicates that it is going to incorporate a fluid design blended with sharpness and tallboy stance. Also, the signature Hyundai design language will be there for sure. The Santro was India’s first tallboy hatchback and the new Santro (AH2) too will follow that path.
The new Hyundai Santro is ready to hit the Indian market sometime in mid October. Ahead of that, revealing the design sketch indicates we are about to see the glimpse of the car soon. According to Hyundai, this is going to be a contemporary family car and it will replace the Hyundai Eon. Also, this urban hatchback will compete with rivals like Maruti Suzuki Alto, Tata Tiago and Renault Kwid.
Speaking about the latest image, it shows the compact car with slightly sloping roofline and a masculine shoulder line. There is a roof mounted rear spoiler adding sportiness. The flared wheel arches adds boldness to the car, whole the stylish and sharp headlamps with fog lamps will give it a very appealing look. The sporty alloy wheels too will be there.
Hyundai Santro played a key role in the brand’s growth in India. Even after its discontinuation, the Santro remained popular among the customers. Now, with the model ready to comeback in an all-new avatar, the South Korean automaker is expecting to see a huge response from the buyers.
