Hyundai, who is moving ahead with a full force in the car markets around the world showcased their 2014 model of the elegant Elantra at the LA Motor Show. Elantra already looks as classy as it can be with fluidic design language defined body. The 2014 model design remains the same with minor changes done to vehicle. The headlamps have now become even more aggressive and seems like they speak out more about the car.

There are very minute changes done to the car. The front fog lamps have now taken elongated shapes, which resembles the fluidic design language of the car. Hyundai has also updated the tail lamps to new LED ones, giving the car all the visual needs that it ever missed. The small visual tweaks might not be visible easily to a passerby looking at the car, but looking closely, these small upgrades have made the more elegant!

The bodylines of the car are still the same. The front grille is almost same as last model with change so subtle, that it goes unnoticed.

Hyundai also packs a new 2.0 liter engine with the new Elantra, which will not come to India for obvious cost reasons. When the new Elantra reaches India, we hope that it happens during the Auto Expo due on February next year.

Elantra falls in D1 segment and showed a steady sales on the chart since past 6 months. The updated version of the Elantra should reach India by mid-2014.
