The new Hyundai Tucson will make its debut at the Auto Expo 2016 in February and the market launch will be later in 2016. This product will be brought in as a CBU. It sports Hyundai’s Active on-demand All Wheel Drive system, the new Hyundai Tucson gets some fresh exteriors and revamped interiors. And keeping no doubts this SUV will be loaded with amazing features too.
Talking about the exterior, the front fascia gets a chrome garnished hexagonal grille, LED twin projector headlamps and integrated LED daytime running lights. The new Tucson sits on an extended wheel base, so we’re expecting interior space will be of premium standards. The Hyundai Tucson will get an option of 19”alloy wheels.
Inside the new Hyundai Tucson, it gets premium and soft touch materials while a leather pad near the driver’s right knee giving a better comfort during longer rides, panoramic sunroof as an option while infotainment is via a 5” colour LCD display with rear view camera and touch screen options. A Sirius XM audio system with 8 speakers as a part of its infotainment features.
Interesting part comes under the hood, the Indian-spec Tucson will be powered by a a 2.0-litre CRDi diesel engine mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission producing peak 182 HP and 400 Nm peak of torque.
You’ll not find any scarcity of safety features in the new Hyundai Tucson, as it gets advanced safety features like Pedestrian Detection, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning System, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist, Backup Warning Sensors and rearview camera. However, it is not confirmed yet whether all these features will make their way onto the India spec model.
