South Korean automaker Hyundai is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the launch of The Walking Dead graphic novel series with a special edition model of its Tucson crossover, which has been officially launched in the U.S market this week.
The ‘’The Walking Dead” Special Edition Tucson does feature a few interesting things, which may come in handy in an event of a zombie apocalypse. For instance, there is a Survival Kit, which Hyundai describes as a “Walking Dead 72-hour survivalist’s backpack - a necessary item for any zombie ‘prepper,’” is included. There are the body decals for all four of the comic book’s factions and a special splash screen on the navigation system. The exterior o the Special Edition has been finished in Ash Black and sports red accents, along with special edition badges. There is also a set of standard roof rails to accommodate the larger of your possessions when evading a zombie horde.
Powering the “The Walking Dead” Special Edition Tucson is the same 2.4-litre Theta II GDI engine that is found in the standard CUV and which is rated at 190PS and 240Nm. The engine is coupled to a 6-Speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.
Hyundai has not yet revealed the pricing of the “The Walking Dead” Special Edition Tucson and are expected to do so in the next few days.
