Hyundai Motor India today showcased its Global 'Blue Link' Connected Car Technology and Beyond. Hyundai Venue - the soon to be launched compact SUV from the stable of Hyundai will be equipped with the 'Blue Link' Technology. Once launched in the Indian market Hyundai Venue will become India's first Smart Connected SUV. Hyundai also shared pan-India initiatives of Sales, Service and CRM for an easy roll-out of the Hyundai 'Blue Link' technology in the Indian market.

Mr Puneet Anand - Senior General Manager - Marketing - Hyundai Motor India said, "We are extremely delighted to share that the Blue Link Connectivity Solutions will debut in Hyundai Venue, making it India's first Smart Connected SUV. The Blue Link Connectivity will be the most practical, concrete and convenient technology available in the Indian market to make the customers life easy. We have undertaken all the measures across all our touch points to ensure that the customers can get a firsthand experience of the Blue Link Connectivity. Our team of Blue Link Wizards & trained sale consultants will make the technology truly accessible to all our customers."

He further added, "The connected car technology is built on the theme of - Your Connected Friend On The Go and will help us realize our vision of becoming Lifetime Partners in Automobile and Beyond." The Blue Link technology consists of 33 features (including AI based Voice commands, Geo-fencing Alert features, in-built maps and location-based services and remote features)out of which 10 features are exclusive for the Indian buyers. Through the Blue Link mobile app, users can lock/unlock their vehicles, can adjust climate control and users can also switch on their vehicle remotely. This will certainly make the Blue Link Connectivity, one of the most practical, holistic and safe connected car technologies.

Hyundai also released some design sketches of its upcoming compact SUV - Hyundai Venue. As reported earlier, Hyundai Venue will get 3 engine options - 1.4-litre petrol capable of churning out 100 bhp of power and a 1.4-litre diesel engine that can make 89 bhp. The earlier spy shots of Hyundai Venue has confirmed that the compact SUV will also get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Hyundai Venue will be introduced on April 17, 2019. The key competitors of Hyundai Venue are Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300.
