Audi has finally unveiled the second generation Q3 compact luxury SUV that is expected to hit the Indian market sometime next year. The SUV appears with strong inspiration from the brand’s flagship Audi Q8. Upon launch, the SUV will compete with the rivals like Volvo XC40 and BMW X1.
In terms of styling, the 2019 Audi Q3 looks very aggressive compared to the current model. The SUV gets a large bold looking octagonal front grille flanked by sleek and sharp headlamps with LED units and integrated LED daytime running lights. The front and rear bumpers have been updated and they look very sculpted. Moving to the side profile, the SUV gets bold and large alloy wheels, while the muscular tone is clearly visible. At the back too, the SUV features new sharper LED taillights.
Not only exterior, inside the cabin too the 2019 Audi Q3 has been updated with new features. Based on the Volkswagen MQB architecture, the SUV offers more space and comfort to the occupants. Also, the 675-litre capacity boot space can be expanded up to 1,525-litre. It also comes with features like 10.25-inch virtual cockpit, large touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera along with cruise control and park assist like technology.
On the powertrain front, the 2019 Audi Q3 gets a wide range of petrol and diesel engines. The India-spec model is expected to get the 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine with lower power output compared to their international versions.
