  • The highlight of the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show is the unveiling of the 2020 Honda Jazz.

  • The 2020 Honda Jazz strikes an emotional chord with a focus on comfort and practicality.

  • The 2020 Honda Jazz Indian launch is uncertain.

Typically, hatchback models aim to look aggressive with every facelift. However, Honda Jazz is different, as it seeks to maintain an emotional relationship with its customers. Hence, customer comfort and practicality are its focal points.

Today, electric vehicles are the flavor of the town all around the world. Honda Jazz strikes this emotional chord, as the 2020 Honda Jazz sports an EV-style front fascia with a sleek body panel to give it a clean appearance.

The rounded LED headlamps have a square-shaped projector beam and a U-shaped light guide. The LED headlights connect to the upper grille. The air intake option is located on the front bumper. The C-shaped fog lamps give the vehicle a sportier feel.

The 2020 Honda Jazz Crosstar seems like Japan’s alternative to the Honda WRV.

The 2020 Honda Jazz exterior has newly designed front pillar aids to ensure better visibility. It has some exciting features like the fuel filler cap located below the rear quarter glass.

The rear portion of the 2020 Honda Jazz comprises horizontal tail lamps with twin U-shaped light guides to give a BMW i3 look.

The 2020 Honda Jazz interior resembles that of an electric car. Some of the features include a flat-topped design for the instrument panel, a two-spoked steering wheel, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system as compared to the existing version.

The innovative stabilizing front seats with a planar support structure add to the comfort factor, especially when going on long drives. The vehicle comes with a 100% digital instrument panel.

The 2020 Honda Jazz is powered by a new dual-motor hybrid system known as e-HEV. This system is derived from the downsized version of the i-MMD system present in the Honda Insight. The Indian launch of the vehicle is uncertain because of the unsatisfactory performance of the existing Honda Jazz. The 2020 Honda Jazz will get a launch in Japan early next year.
