BMW, the German luxury can manufacturer has a huge portfolio of cars for customers across the globe, and sitting at the very bottom of it, is the entry level 1-series compact SUV. The smallest and the cheapest compact SUV is also available in India and recently, the spy shots of the face-lifted 1-series has emerged online.
The test mule caught semi-camouflaged is a three-door version and will go on sales come next year. The changes made to the car, both in the interiors and exteriors are prominent and according to the feedback from the customers. On the inside, BMW tried to disguise much of the console, but going by the looks, the car is expected to get more features with a redesigned centre console.
On the outside, the car will receive a redesigned front fascia, inspired by the 2-series and a new pair of headlights, to make the car more appealing. The back will also get a reshaped bumper, with some minor changes. The side profile though, looks almost similar to the current generation model.
There are no reports as to what will power the car, and will there be any change to the current line of engines. BMW has already hinted towards bringing a sedan version of the 1-series and the facelifted 5-door 1-series too.
