Ford is working on an updated Endeavour that is expected to launch in Indian market sometime in next year. The refreshed SUV has been spotted testing in Thailand recently without any camouflage. The spyshots give us a clear preview of the car with its updates. It comes carrying an updated exterior and interior. Also, the SUV gets several new features as well.
The new Ford Endeavour which is also known as Ford Everest in several markets, sports a revised and larger front grille with sleeker horizontal slats. The chrome garnishing adds zing to the grille, while the headlamps come sporting similar appearance as the current model. It gets projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights. Front bumper too comes identical as the current model, with the fog lamps and lower cladding unchanged.
At the side profile, the large alloy wheels too are intact with the same design as the present Endeavour, while it gets thick chrome bar running between the large and prominent taillights. The roof spoiler and rear bumper adds sportiness to the SUV. So far, the exterior updates appear to be limited to the front grille design only.
Inside the cabin too, the Ford Endeavour facelift is expected to receive couple of subtle updates in order to become more appealing. However, no major change is expected to take place inside the cabin. Speaking about its power source, the new Ford Endeavour will draw energy from a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of churning out 155 bhp of peak power and 385 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, there will be a larger 3.2-litre five cylinder diesel engine as well that is capable of generating 198 bhp of peak power and 470 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options for the India-spec Ford Endeavour facelift could remain same.
