Mercedes-Benz finally has a rival for the BMW X6 and now Lumma Design has decided to apply its expertise on Daimler’s first ever crossover coupe. The GLE Coupe has gone on sale in Europe only recently, but tuners are already working on aftermarket packages and this kit brings a more aggressive look as the car is now wider thanks to the extended front and rear fenders.
It also features custom front and rear bumpers making the GLE Coupe look more masculine while the standard hood has been replaced with a new one made from carbon fiber and equipped with vents to cool down the engine. The list of changes doesn’t end here as Lumma Design has also attached a front lip spoiler and installed intake ducts manufactured from carbon fiber to keep the weight down as much as possible.
You will notice the rear fenders are now vented as a method to cool the rear brakes which hide beneath a massive set of custom 24-inch black alloy wheels. The back of the car hosts a large diffuser incorporating the quad exhaust setup while the trunk has gained a carbon fiber spoiler. Other changes include tinted taillights, glossy black side mirror caps, tinted windows and beefier side skirts.
Lumma Design has not provided photos of the interior cabin, but they say the Mercedes GLE Coupe can be fitted with premium leather upholstery as well as carbon fiber inserts and even an exotic wood trim to further individualize the high-end model.
A tuning package would not be complete without a power boost and Lumma says they will be able to increase output to as much as 650 bhp while other accessories are also in the works and will be released in the near future to make the car stand out from the crowd even more.
