Force Motors is all set to supply a fleet of Light Strike Vehicles (LSV) to the Indian Army. These vehicles have been designed and developed by the automaker’s Pune based R&D team and they come with agility, great maneuverability, high speed and stability alongside 4x4 capability. These vehicles are expected to improve the mobility solutions for the Indian Army in treacherous terrains.

The homegrown auto manufacturer claims that these LSVs have already proven to be reliable on all fronts, according to the Indian Army’s requirement. The prototypes of the vehicle have gone through rigorous trials for more than two years in rough terrains that include deserts of Rajasthan bearing heat of around 50 degree Celsius and in Himalayas with a temperature around -30 degree Celsius.
These Force Motors built Light Stroke Vehicles come with a similar appearance as the Force GurkhaSUV. They get differential locks on all the wheels, while the run flat tyres come as practical solutions. Also, the vehicles come equipped with provision to mount assault weapons like rocket launcher and machine guns. They are also lightweight and can be airlifted and dropped easility.
As Indian Army is constantly modernizing its fleet of assault and transport vehicles, these Light Strike Vehicles by Force Motors are expected to play key role in the modernization process. Also, these come with capability to be used as advance fast stroke vehicles, which will give the Indian Army an edge over the enemy when needed.
