The premium Imported motorcycle segment over the 500cc segments in India has seen a stupendous growth over last couple of years. From a mere 450 Units sold in 2010-11 to an incredible 3656 Units sold in 2014-15. Zigwheels is reporting that Indian Motorcycles which is around a year old in the Indian market is planning to expand its footprint in India by opening new dealerships, as it currently operates from a single Dealership in India.

The 5 new dealerships are planned in the big cities like, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Chennai and will take the number of dealerships to 6 for the Polaris India owned company. The New dealerships should have the Indian Scout, Indian Chief Range and the upcoming Roadmaster on display. The Indian Scout which has made a re-entry to the iconic American brands portfolio after a gap of 66 years is the cheapest Indian Motorcycle for sale in India ,at 11.99 Lakh INR Ex-Showroom this is a one stunning looking retro cruiser with modern edges and matt paint shades, needless to say, we love it here at Bikeportal. On the other hand, the most expensive top of the line variant for Indian in India will be the Roadmaster, which is available at 37 Lakh INR.

The Indian Scout, when it used to figure in the Indian's portfolio  for sale between 1920 and 1949 it was one of the top most selling motorcycles for the company. Interestingly, the Scout is showing it is equally capable in its new avatar, globally as well as in India, where the current Indian Motorcycle’s dealer has received more than 50 bookings for the motorcycle in less than six months. We wish Indian brings itupcoming Indian Dark Horse to India also, as it will be a stunning addition to our Indian Royalty.
