Indian Motorcycle to introduce a new model in 2016?

Snapshot: The information listed by the US Environmental Protection Agency suggests that the bike propels the same air-cooled 1811cc, V-twin engine as seen on other offerings from Indian Motorcycle

According to a report on the VisorDown website, the America based motorcycle manufacturer ‘Indian Motorcycle’ is gearing up to introduce a new model by 2016. Company has already trademarked the name ‘Indian Springfield’ for the new model (an year back) and it is assumed that the name is derived from the hometown of Indian Motorcycle, Springfield, Massachusetts.

The information listed by the US Environmental Protection Agency suggests that the bike propels the same air-cooled 1811cc, V-twin churning out 91bhp of max power and 138.9 Nm of peak torque.  This engine also powers other motorcycles of the manufacturer like Chief Classic, Chieftain and Roadmaster. It will join in the league of Chief

The bike hasn’t been revealed yet, but being listed as a part of firm’s 2016 range (according to EPA documents), we expect the official debut of the same to take place soon. Once launched, we expect it to follow firm’s CBU route to India.
