Hyundai motors India is all set the launch its all new Tucson SUV which will strengthen its SUV portfolio even better. The Tucson will sit between the immensely popular Hyundai Creta and Santa Fe. According to reports from various sources the Tucson will also get the much popular Android auto feature.

The new generation Hyundai Tucson should go on sale around November 2016 in India and chances are high that this feature will be made available for Indian consumers. Hyundai Australia has recently announced a free Android auto upgrade to all the customers who have recently purchased i30, Velostar, Elantra, Santa Fe and Tucson. The customers can update the software in just about 15 minutes in any Hyundai dealership. This upgrade news has further increased the possibility of getting the Android Auto feature in the India-bound new generation Hyundai Tucson.

Android auto synchronizes all the functions of your Android devices to be operated in the car’s head unit. The system allows the driver and the co-passengers to connect the smartphone to view maps, texting, calling, music playback and loading apps from the car’s touchscreen infotainment system.

In its latest avatar the Tucson would don Hyundai’s Fluidic 2.0 design language. The front end of the SUV sports a large hexagonal grille with chrome finish, further flanked by brilliant looking LED headlamps. The upcoming SUV is built on a completely new platform which extracts much more space inside than before.

The South Korean brand would power the car with a number of engine options, including 1.6 liter turbo GDI petrol, 2.0 liter GDI petrol, 1.7 liter CRDI and 2.0 liter CRDI diesel. The engine would be connected with either a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic or with a 7-speed DSG transmission system.

The third generation SUV would be equipped with an Autonomous emergency braking system, Blind spot detection, lane departure warning, Sat Nav, panoramic sunroof, six airbags, heated seats, 19-inch alloy wheels etc., making it a feature rich car.

Hyundai is all geared up for its new SUV’s launch. It is setting high hopes on this model as it would help the company to gain pole position in the growing Indian SUV segment.
