Remember Remember, the words of the Giant, for it has set its eyes on the king of the segment!!! Well pardon our appalling attempts at poetry, but the fact is, ever since Honda declared that they will be launching as many as 15 models in India this year, we knew that the mighty Honda has set its target fair and square on the sheer dominance of Hero Motocorp in the commuter segment. It was stated by Honda that out of these  15 model launches, 7 will be new models while the rest of them will be model upgrades/facelifts.

Honda's determination is not only bringing new products to the market but they are constantly increasing their production volumes with fast expansions in order to support the demand from the market. Speaking of which, Our friends at GaadiWaadi.com have shared pictures of a new Honda commuter motorcycle that has been photographed undergoing testing inside a Honda plant. It is being said that the bike in concern is a 125cc, however, the engine placement in the chassis and a few other minor bits suggest , it can also be a smaller 110cc engine, instead.

The spied commuter  seems to carry a sporty styling with an aggressive bikini fairing, tank extensions, slightly contoured sporty fuel tank and a side cowl reminiscent of the Hero Glamour. The pointed tail wears a long and comfortable looking seat. However, the footpegs appear to be slightly rear set although there are no discs at least on this pictured machine and everything else appears to be utilitarian.
