There is no denying the fact Fiat makes some of the most beautiful looking cars around the globe, but their India outing has not been that successful. Fiat only offers a handful of products in India, but all of them are best looking in their respective class. One such car from Fiat, which is not yet available in India, but is beautiful looking, is the Fiat 500. An artist has rendered Fiat Punto with 500 as the design inspiration.
The rendering done by RM Design is called 500+ since it is based on the design of 500/500x, but looks more hatchback like. Fiat Punto updated the car with the Fiat Punto EVO, which is one of the best looking hatchback in the country. The difficult task ahead of Fiat is how to further tweak the looks, which going by the success 500 got internationally, is easy to assess.
Since the Punto EVO is a recent offering in the country, the new generation Punto won't be making its way to the Indian shores anytime soon. Though, Fiat could replace the existing Punto from the international markets as soon as early 2016 and company’s designer Roberto Giolito has already acknowledged a possibility of a 5-door model based on 500.
But why is all this fuss related to 500? Ever since its launch, the Fiat 500 has become a rage among the youth due to its cute little looks. Fiat is utilizing the popularity of the 500 by suffixing the moniker. 'L' suffix represents the 5 door version, the 'L MPW' represents a 7 seater, and the 'X' represents the soft-roader. So it may not be wrong to deduce that Fiat will utilize this 500 design for the future cars.
