Snapshot: UM Global sets up their first office in Delhi, ready to launch in the festive season

Our friends at Motoroids reported that UM Global has come up with their office in Okhla, New Delhi. In partnership with Lohia group, UM Global has planned the launch for the upcoming festive season in India. The US based motorcycle manufacturer will utilize Lohia Auto’s Kashipur, Uttarakhand plant to assemble its products.Currently, UM will be introducing 3 products to the market and one of them will be Renegade. Renegade is powered from a 223cc engine that is capable of producing 18bhp of power. On papers Renegade output figures compete directly with the Bajaj Avenger’s.  

UM Motorcycles will be getting the complete range of their motorcycles in India with an investment of about Rs 120 crore and they have already invested a part of the amount for the manufacturing facility's production and R&D purposes. UM will offer the range starting from UM Xtreet, which like the name suggests, is a street bike, Renegade cruiser range, includes the Renegade Commando and Renegade Limited, Renegade Sports and Renegade Duty. UM Global is all set to compete with the Royal Enfield in India and company is ready to launch its products in the upcoming festive season.
