For the longest time, we have been hearing people cribbing about Hero Impulse's lesser than life performance. The 150 cc engine just couldn't justify the features it possessed. Many wondered what stopped Hero from putting the Karizma's 223 cc engine into it and make it an almost perfect dual-sport motorcycle that India has been craving for ever since.
Well, to Hero's loss, UM Motorcycles decided to act swiftly and listen to people's wishes. What you see here is UM Hypersport, probably the most able motorcycle is the segment that is frequented by travelers than commuters.
As we wrote a few days ago about UM launching its Renegade series somewhere around October this year priced between Rs. 1-1.5 lakh, the Hypersport was absent from Auto Expo this year. So when the Hypersport was spotted being tested around Pune, off-roaders just couldn't stop smiling.
Apart from having an impressive engine, a light weight of 122 kgs (dry), the Hypersport also flaunts cool features like a digital instrument cluster, USB charging, ventilated discs at both ends, upside down front forks and sporty looking alloy wheels.
As UM is keeping the Hypersport a hush-hush affair, we expect this Hill God to be in your hands at a mouth watering price of 1.5 lakh.
