The Japanese automaker, Isuzu has introduced a limited edition of its tough and rugged D-Max pick-up, to celebrate 100 years of existence and this version has been named as the Isuzu D-Max Centurion Special Edition. The company will produce just 100 examples of the new Isuzu D-Max Centurion Special Edition that will be offered in the United Kingdom, at a starting price of £30,999 (approximately INR 30 lakhs).
The exterior of the Centurion Special Edition boasts 19-inch black and silver Hurricane alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Zero rubber. The spoiler fitments give it a more of a rugged look without affecting ground clearance or ride height, an exclusive FJORD Blue paint-job, stainless steel side bars and sidesteps, tinted windows, double colored roof bars, LED DRLs, Alpha Sports tonneau cover and also remote tailgate locking.
Speaking of the interior, the Centurion Special Edition is offered in leather upholstery on the seats, steering wheel and front centre armrest, along with rear door entry guards that display the illuminated Isuzu logo. The special edition version gets a Centurion-branded carpet mat set and a plaque, numbered 1-100 marks the brand’s centenary. This is not all, it will also get a new Alpine infotainment system with an 8 inch touchscreen, six speakers with an active sub-woofer, a roof-mounted 10.2-inch monitor at the rear, two wireless headphone sets and a rear-view camera.
Interesting part is here, mechanically, the special edition pickup truck will be powered packed with the same 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel engine good for 161 HP and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to an automatic transmission, and the D-Max Centurion Special Edition boasts a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes with five-year, 125,000 mile warranty as standard.
