ISUZU Motors Limited has confirmed a possible price hike across its D-MAX pick-ups and mu-X SUVs, with effect from 1st January 2019. Similar hikes happened in January and September 2018, the main reason being high input and distribution costs as stated by the company.
The hike could be between 1-2% for commercial vehicles like the D-MAX Regular Cab and D-MAX S-CAB and by 3-4% for the adventure pick-ups such as the D-MAX V-Cross and mu-X SUV. The rise in percentage indicates a hike from Rs 15,000 to Rs 1,00,000 for all variants.
