Jaguar C-X75 is a hybrid electric, two seat concept from the Jaguar which was debuted at Paris Motor Show 2010. Four electric motors were capable of producing 778 horsepower, this was the concept of C-X75. It consists of rechargeable batteries. Instead of using four stroke conventional engine diesel fed micro gas turbines are used. It is a model which influences the future technology and design. The alphabet C stand for the concept, X stands for experimental and C-X75 is because of Jaguar’s 75th anniversary. In 2011 Jaguar announced its plan to build from 2013. Until that there will be a limited production of Jaguar C-X75, with the boosted petrol engine in spite of using a micro gas turbine. In partnership with the Formula One Williams F1 team, the company planned to build a maximum of 250 cars.
A month ago Chris Froome was pedaling furiously up with some of the Europe’s toughest climbs in a successful pursuit in first Tour de France victory. Now he was decked out in a skin tight suit and being asked to pedal furiously against an F-type Jaguar on the private test track. In the prototype version of the innovative Jaguar C-X75, Mr. Froome was treated to having a dynamic experience. It is an efficient low emission city car. It has supercharged 1.6 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine. The two electric motors in C-X75 add up 390 BHP which adds up to the combined output in excess of 850 BHP. Experiencing the drive in Jaguar sports car, Mr. Froome took an unique opportunity to ride Sky Pinarello bike team alongside F-TYPE before going to the Tour of Colorado.
Jaguar is having a partnership with Team sky since from the very first season of teams racing in 2010. The team supported well in the year round racing as well as in the training activities.
