It's just been a mere couple of days, since the British luxury marque Jaguar announced that it is going to name its upcoming SUV, based on the C-X17 concept, as F-PACE. And, now the Jaguar F-PACE has been spied for the very first time in its production avatar, albeit fully camouflaged. This 5-seater SUV is expected to be revealed by the end of 2015 and would go on sale in several countries by 2016.
Going by the spy-shots, the spied test mule of F-PACE boasts a rectangular front grille, which is complimented well by the large airdams. The headlamps seem quite identical to the ones with the XF. The crossover SUV also reflects sculpted hood, an upward sweeping shoulder line and a sporty roof. As far as rear part is concerned, the spied vehicle has wraparound tail lamps, twin exhausts and a rear spoiler mounted on the tailgate.
However, interior couldn't be snapped, but it is expected that the F-PACE crossover would come with class-leading interior space, high-end luxury equipments and contemporary technologies. Despite Jaguar being immensely tight-lipped about the F-PACE's specifications, it has been learnt that it would ride on iQ [Al] platform.
Under the hood, it would have a set of new 4-cylinder Ingenium engines and the high-performance, top-end variant could also feature with the supercharged 3.0 litre V6. It is also being speculated that the variant line-up of F-PACE would be quite similar to 2015 XE and the engine line-up as well. For your information, 2015 Jaguar XE also has a top-end variant with 3.0L V6 motor that develops 340 bhp of maximum power and 450 Nm of peak torque.
