Tata Motors' owned British Luxury carmaker Jaguar has silently launched a 2.0-litre petrol variant of its flagship saloon XF in India today. Priced at Rs 48.30 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai, pre-octroi), the Jaguar XF 2.0 petrol becomes the most affordable petrol model of the line-up. Other petrol model carries a 5.0-litre V8 petrol mill and starts at Rs 59.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Mr. Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover, India said, “The Jaguar XF 2.0L petrol engine is a definite head turner and an excellent sedan that combines elegant design, luxurious style and classy appeal. Jaguar XF has been our most popular premium sedan model in India and is well received and appreciated by our customers.”
The company believes that the Jaguar XF 2.0L petrol version offers a great value proposition for customers, offering best-in-class power output and torque in the segment. This model has been offered with a bunch of exciting features as standard like rear view camera, TV tuner, sun-roof, full size spare wheels and navigation.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine impresses with its power and performance figures. Churning out a maximum power output of 240 PS, this engine can accelerate to 100kmph in mere 7.9 seconds from standstill. The new affordable version is now on sale at all 19 outlets of the company across 17 cities in India.
