Jeep India is gearing up to roll out a Black Pack version of its top-selling model, Compass in the country. The officials at Jeep have hinted at launching the new Black Pack version of the SUV, media reports suggest. The Black Pack version will either be offered as a limited edition or as an additional kit on the variants. Changes will primarily be cosmetic with new styling bits such as a black roof, black alloy wheels and black mirrors will differentiate the Black Pack version from its regular counterpart. To match up with the exterior, the cabin will also get all-black leather seat covers for a plush look.

While the company is working on rolling out the Black Pack version, it also has plans to introduce a higher-spec Compass, which will be sold under the Limited Plus badge. The new higher-spec trim is likely to pack a host of new bits such as a sunroof, power-operated driver’s seat and a large 8.4-inch touch screen infotainment system. Jeep could launch the Compass Limited Plus in the country sometime soon.
Jeep’s much awaited Compass Trailhawk on the other hand could get delayed in India sources reveal. For those not in the know, Jeep Compass Trailhawk is a hardcore off-road Compass variant. In context to the Indian market, the upcoming Jeep Trailhawk will come with an automatic gearbox on the diesel version.
