- Jeep Compass new engine will have two states of power tuning
- The new engine will have updated headlights, taillights, bumper and grille
- It will also see an update in the software system of the on-board system
Though Jeep Compass looks catchy enough, the facelifted version will carry a new bumper, headlights, taillights, and front grille. The engine under the hood will arrive in two states of tuning; 150 PS and 180 PS. Both these power outputs will be accompanied with 270 Nm of torque. To compare this to the current gen 1.4L MultiAir engine, it is developing 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The new engine is already introduced in the facelifted Jeep Renegade globally, and the same might arrive in India as well.
The recently introduced Jeep Compass Plug-in Hybrid at 2019 Geneva Motor Show has already been planted with the new engine. A 240 PS of power is produced with the 1.3-litre engine and the electric motor pumping together.
