Jeep Compass Facelift will possibly get exterior and interior upgrades.

Jeep might introduce the BS VI compliant petrol and diesel engine in the pre-facelift model by the end of 2019 and costs will increase.

The Jeep Compass has remained a hit among the buyers in the last two years. The SUV is, since then competing with the likes of rivals such as Tata Harrier and now with the MG Hector. Very soon, the Compass will also have to compete with Kia Seltos as well as upcoming SUV of Ford-Mahindra. Seeing this, Jeep is planning to upgrade its Compass SUV in 2020.
The Compass Facelift is expected to have minor updates in the exterior. Talking of the interior, it might come with new trims as well as new upholstery. However, most importantly, the car manufacturer can take the opportunity of fixing the puzzle, making its low and middle variants exorbitantly priced.
In addition, Jeep may add features like a powered tailgate, ventilated seats, eSIM - connected car technology, the premium sound system as well as a head-up information display. These features are usually offered in the SUVs that have a lower price than Jeep Compass.

Buyers can expect the nine-speed automatic transmission system as well as cruise control in the fully-loaded Jeep Compass Trailhawk, which has a price of INR 26 lakh in order to make it affordable variant in India. The brand has confirmed that making the low variants “diesel-automatic” is a “logical thing to do”. At present, the Jeep Compass’ diesel variants (except Trailhawk) gets a single transmission, a six-speed manual. Therefore, in the upcoming Compass Facelift, we can expect the 4x2 diesel-automatic options too.
Speaking about the engine, the Jeep Compass specifications include a 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel engine, which is BS VI compliant. For now, it is just available on the Trailhawk. Other variants of Jeep Compass are more likely to receive a clean version this year itself.

The Jeep Compass Facelift is more likely to come with a 1.3-litre four-cylinder Firefly turbo-petrol engine, similar to Jeep Renegade Facelift in the past year. This engine is available in two transmission options:
