Bollywood hunk John Abraham has become a proud owner of Nissan Terrano. John was announced as Nissan's new brand ambassador at the 2016 Auto Expo in February. Sanjay Gupta, Vice-President - Marketing, Nissan India, handed the keys of brand new Nissan Terrano to Nissan brand ambassador John Abraham. For those asking, Nissan Terrano is priced in a range of Rs. 9.99-13.15 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in India.

Abraham was signed by Nissan in a bid to promote the GT-R sportscar and the X-Trail Hybrid SUV, which will soon be on sale in India. Back then, Abraham had said, "I’ve always been passionate about driving. The GT-R is a legendary car that petrolheads like me swear by, while the X-Trail Hybrid is the right product at the right time for our country. I’m thrilled to be joining Nissan at such an exciting time for the company in India and look forward to the journey ahead.” The Terrano SUV is currently available in four variants: XE D, XL P, XL D(O), and XV D Pre 110 PS. Recently, the Japanese automaker discontinued three variants of the SUV - 85 PS Terrano XL, 110 PS Terrano XL and 110 PS Terrano XV - in diesel fuel trim.

As for features, the Terrano SUV gets 16-inch alloy wheels, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, 4 Speed A/C with Pollen Filter, Rear A/C with Independent Control (2-Speed), Lumbar Support & Seat Height Adjustment, Rear Seat Armrest with 2 Cup Holders, 2-Din Audio (CD/Mp3/AM/FM) With USB, Aux-In & Bluetooth, 4 Speakers, Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD & BA, and Reverse Parking Sensors in the range-topping variant. It is available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims. The petrol variants are powered by a 1.6L K4M engine, which develops 102bhp of top power, while returning mileage of 13.06kmpl. It is linked to a 5-speed manual transmission with power being transferred to the front wheels. The diesel variants get their power from the 1.5L dCi engine, which belts out power in two modes: 85PS and 110PS. The 85PS variants are offered with 5-speed manual gearbox, while the 110PS variants are available with 6-speed manual gearbox.
