The naked sibling of Kawasaki Ninja 650, the ER6N is the most affordable middle-weight bike offered by the Japanese manufacturer. The ER-6N is practically the same bike as Ninja 650, but without the fairing. A Mumbai-based dealership in Andheri East is currently offering a discount of Rs 25,000 on the motorcycle. Currently, the bike is available with a price tag of Rs 5.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), but in order the clear is inventory, the Dealer is offering the bike at Rs 5.12 lakh. This offer is limited to Andheri dealer only.
When contacted, other dealer's in Mumbai or even in other cities denied any kind of price cut on the bike. Despite its great performance, the ER6N failed to attract eyeballs of the buyers. The prime reasons could be the lack of colour options, weak promotion and ordinary of styling.
The Kawasaki ER6N comes with a powerful 649cc, liquid-cooled, 4 stroke, parallel twin, DOHC, 8 Valves, FI engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 71.11 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 64Nm at 7,000rpm. Power to the rear is transferred by 6-speed transmission. Powering its braking is a Dual semi-floating 300mm petal discs at the front while its rear is equipped with single 220mm petal disc.
