The Indian subsidiary of the famous Japanese motorcycle making brand, Kawasaki India previously launched new limited edition colors in the Z900 and now came up with new colors in its famous Ninja 1000 motorcycle. The Ninja 1000 gets two new paint schemes including metallic carbon grey with metallic spark black and metallic carbon grey with emerald blazed green paint. Since these are only color updates the bike doesn’t get any mechanical or electronic updates.
The Ninja 1000 is one of the most famous sport touring motorcycle in the country that is offered at a highly lucrative price tag of Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). It packs a 1043cc in-line 4-cyl engine that churns out massive 140bhp of maximum power and 111Nm of peak torque.
“The Ninja 1000 ABS is doing exceptionally well in the global premium sports-tourer market. And when we say global market, India also becomes a part of it. That's why Ninja 1000 is our SKD model in the new IKM factory of India. Every product and its variant have a specific product lifecycle. I anticipate that our Ninja 1000 ABS with redefined color combination will attract new customers," said Yutaka Yamashita, managing director of India Kawasaki Motors.
