Kawasaki India plans to introduce KLX 110

Indian motorcycle market is expanding at a good pace and to give an example, every other major manufacturer is looking forward to introduce new segment motorcycles, be it Bajaj Auto looking forward to cruiser sport segment with Pulsar CS or Royal Enfield entering into adventure sports with the Himalayan.
News from various sources suggests that Kawasaki India will be coming up with a dedicated off-road motorcycle KLX 110 which will be an entry level off-road motorcycle for kids. Off-roading segment in India still needs a kick start as presently there is no option available (unless you buy a KTM Duke and customize it with proper off-road suspensions and tyres). KLX 110 runs on an 112cc engine that is mated to four-speed transmission with automatic clutch for stall-free shifting. 30mm telescopic fork at the front offering 4.3 inches of travel and a seat height of 26.8-inch makes it a good option for kids being a small size off-roader motorcycle.
According to the news Kawasaki India has already imported couple of units of the same bike and it will be sold as via CBU directly imported from Thailand. Being road illegal these bikes can only be ridden on the dirt tracks or closed circuits. Tell us what you think about the same in the comment section below.
