Apart from Versys, Kawasaki is also planning to introduce their first cruiser bike in the Indian market (but time of the launch is unknown in this case). Both of these motorcycles the Versys 650 and the Vulcan S shares the same engine from Ninja 650 that is a a 649cc, parallel-twin, four-stroke, liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. The engine is capable of producing a power of 68.1bhp at 8500rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The Versys 650 is a younger sibling of the the Versys 1000 motorcycle. When launched, Versys 650 will prove to be an amazing tourer as it features up-right riding position, tall wind screen which is height adjustable, raised handle bars and wide seat that offers great comfort for the rider. The ground clearance this bike offers is 170mm which is far more than Ninja 650. Versys utilizes dual-petal disc brakes at the front and single rotor disc at the rear. Internationally the Versys is available in Kawasaki’s iconic green, black, white and yellow however only few colors will be available for India. Verys will fall in the range of 6 lacks (ex-showroom) and will prove to be a brilliant motorcycle on Indian roads.
