It will not be an overstatement if we say that the Kawasaki Ninja H2 is probably the most intriguing motorcycle launch this side of the launch of Ducati 1199 Panigale launch a couple years ago. Just like what the Ducati 1199 Panigale did, changing the perception of motorcycles forever in our psyche (it was the motorcycle which went from analog to all digital, changing everything we know about motorcycles in process).
The Kawasaki Ninja H2, promised much the same and delivered more than we could ever imagine. Powered by a 998cc In-line 4, with air fed by a Centrifugal Supercharger via a single Ram Air intake. Driven by a planetary gear train, the supercharger gives the street legal version of the Track only 300bhp behemoth the Kawasaki Ninja H2R is, a stunning power output of 207bhp and a never ending monstrous torque pull everywhere in the rev range.
Needless to say the Kawasaki Ninja H2 arrives with bucket loads of safety net to keep you from killing yourself. Safety features include KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control), KLCM (Kawasaki Launch Control Mode), Kawasaki’s Supersport-style ABS, KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System) and electronic steering damper (jointly developed with Öhlins).
Kawasaki’s official USA website has revealed the prices of the street legal Ninja H2 at USD 25,000 in the United States of America. Considering the top spec Ducati's and the BMW's cost around the same, Kawasaki has pulled of a miracle of sorts. No we are not even going to try and count how much this stunner from the team green would cost in India since, last time we checked, robbing banks was illegal in India.
Do tell us, what are your thoughts on this game changing motorcycle by Kawasaki and where would you take this beast for a ride in India )if you managed to rob a bank and not get caught, that is).
