Kawasaki has showcased at the Ninja H2 SX and SX SE at the ongoing EICMA 2017 at Milan, Italy. The special thing about this beast is that it is a sports tourer fitted with the second generation of balanced supercharged engine.
The unveiled Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX is built on the similar physical aspect as the legendary H2. However, since the new H2 SX is a tourer sports motorcycle, it has a much more relaxed seating stance compared to the aggressive and sporty lean-on position of the standard H2. It has a longer wheelbase and based on the trellis frame, which means that it can accommodate a pillion as well. The kerb weight of the SX stands at 256 kgs while SE is 260 kgs.
The new Kawasaki H2 SX has been given the same electronic bits as the H2, albeit being fitted with a cruise control system. The H2 SX also gets a fully adjustable suspension, radial brake calipers and a full LED headlamp. Moreover, the top-spec SX SE, unveiled alongside the SX, features a full-digital instrumentation and three LED cornering lights that are fitted in the fairing and will get activated automatically depending on the lean angle.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX is driven by a powerful 998cc, supercharged engine which will be capable of making a peak power of 200 bhp along with a maximum torque of 137.7 Nm. The company has claimed that the gear-transmission ratio has been revised to ease some stress off the gearbox and to make it more fuel efficient as well.
After this unveil at the 2017 EICMA, the Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX may hit the Indian market soon, but not before the H1 of 2018. However, it is predicted that the company will offer the motorcycle in the country in limited numbers only.
