A few hours ago we reported that Kawasaki has just introduced the new Ninja 400 at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show, now the company has also taken covers off the new Ninja 250R. The company discontinued the quarter-liter Ninja a few years back with the launch of the Ninja 300 but now launched the same with fully revamped looks, power terrain, and other mechanicals. Since the company launched the Ninja 400, it will be discontinuing the Ninja 300 very soon and hence be making space for the new Ninja 250R.
Talking about the bike, it runs on the same 249cc parallel-twin, liquid cooled, DOHC engine which now makes much higher 39bhp of maximum power @12,000rpm and 23.Nm of peak torque @10,000rpm. The company has seriously worked upon the power factor of the bike and hence it gets a straight power boost of 8bhp (as the earlier bike was 31bhp). The bike will be globally available in two color options including green and black. But is expected to make it to the Indian market in lime green color only. Stay tuned to Autoportal for full details on the bike.
