The Japanese motorcycle maker has managed to release a concept sketch of what is assumed to be their next supercharged motorcycle – SC 01, which if went into production might be called as Kawasaki Ninja S2. The SC in the name stands for Spirit Charger.

Unlike the aggressive Ninja H2 and Ninja H2R, it will be closer to daily riding perspective. It has some similarities as well as differences when compared to H Concepts, but on the whole, it is designed to sit below them in a middle weight segment category.

If went into production if will be powered from a 650cc, four-cylinder balanced supercharged engine. As the Kawasaki has put forward, “it will retain the performance of a forced induction engine but provide increased fuel economy thanks to electronically controlled flaps at the supercharger entrance allowing the volume of intake air and airflow direction to be adjusted for increased efficiency”.

It will be a middle-weight motorcycle with a power output closer to the litre-class motorcycles. Do we need to say more? Share your views on the new Spirit Charger concept in the comment section below.
