With an exclusive showroom in Delhi to take care of the northern part of the country, and one in Pune for the bike frenzy western India, Kawasaki now plans to take care of the southern part of the nation with the third showroom being opened in Chennai - the racing hub of India.

These showrooms will deal only in the high-end  motorcycles that come to India as Completely Built Units (CBUs). As the Bajaj owned KTM showrooms only offer the Completely Knocked Down Units (CKDs), these showrooms remain the only option for the bike enthusiasts to lay their hands on devils like Ninja ZX-14R - the fastest production motorcycle of the world, ZX-10R, Ninja 1000, Z 1000 and Z 800 models.

Kawasaki has been very aggressive with its plans for India from some time now. The latest to joined this monstrous line-up is Z 250 which is a naked streetfighter that is powered by a parallel twin, 249 cc engine that delivers 32 bhp of power at 11,000 rpm and 21 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. The Z 250 will again reach the cost-effective segment via the CKD route.
