On this occasion Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said “Vulcan S is that type of motorbike which defines a particular lifestyle. In such type of products colour of the motorcycle plays a vital role. The Vulcan S in pearl lava orange colour is available only in few countries. So bringing it in India shows commitment of Kawasaki towards the Indian market.” Ergo-fit is the standout feature of Vulcan S which offers a combination of adjustable components for riders of different stature. The motorcycle rides on an 18-inch front wheel with 120/70 section tyre and a 17-inch rear wheel with a 160/60 tyre. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) comes as standard safety feature with the Vulcan S.

The braking duties are done by a 300mm single disc with dual piston callipers at the front and a 250mm single disc and piston calliper setup at the rear. Mechanically, Kawasaki Vulcan S is powered by the fuel-injected 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine with dual overhead camshafts which belts out top power of 60bhp and peak torque of 63Nm, while linked to a 6-speed transmission. The Vulcan S is at loggerheads with the likes of Harley Davidson Street 750 and Triumph Street Twin in the Indian market.
