Kawasaki India has launched the Vulcan S in pearl lava orange colour at an introductory price of Rs. 5.58 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The bookings are open and customers can visit the nearest showroom. Being originally launched in December 2017, Kawasaki Vulcan S is already available in black color at Rs. 5.48 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). According to the company, the introduction of a new colour is mainly due to the positive response received from the customers to the existing model.

On this occasion Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said “Vulcan S is that type of motorbike which defines a particular lifestyle. In such type of products colour of the motorcycle plays a vital role. The Vulcan S in pearl lava orange colour is available only in few countries. So bringing it in India shows commitment of Kawasaki towards the Indian market.” Ergo-fit is the standout feature of Vulcan S which offers a combination of adjustable components for riders of different stature. The motorcycle rides on an 18-inch front wheel with 120/70 section tyre and a 17-inch rear wheel with a 160/60 tyre. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) comes as standard safety feature with the Vulcan S.
The braking duties are done by a 300mm single disc with dual piston callipers at the front and a 250mm single disc and piston calliper setup at the rear. Mechanically, Kawasaki Vulcan S is powered by the fuel-injected 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine with dual overhead camshafts which belts out top power of 60bhp and peak torque of 63Nm, while linked to a 6-speed transmission. The Vulcan S is at loggerheads with the likes of Harley Davidson Street 750 and Triumph Street Twin in the Indian market.
