Kawasaki is contemplating to add two more shades to its Z800 sport naked motorbike as for the time being, it comes with only color - the all black green stickering. The two yet-to-be-added shades are supposedly candy green and black paint scheme. Although, the bike would remain the same altogether in designing terms and mechanically.
The two colors would be distinguished by the green color on the bikini fairing, fuel tank, engine belly pan, side panels and the rear seat. Globally, the Z800 is also available with two more shades white and orange colors. This audacious move from the company might pay rich dividends as the buyers have no scarcity for choice in terms of colors. As of now, the Kawasaki Z800 is at loggerheads with the Triumph Street Triple in the country and with the addition of two new trims, it might attract a larger audience and prospective buyers.
Mechanically, the bike comes loaded with a four-stroke in-line four liquid-cooled 806cc engine. This highly powerful and frugal engine generates a maximum power output of 113bhp in accordance with a peak torque of 83Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox to attain brisk acceleration. Kawasaki has refrained from launching the anniversary editions of its bikes in India, but on international level, it has been doing the same quite frequently. In India, it has stick to its original parent design and hence, depriving the Indian buyers to have some extra options.
