Kawasaki came out with MY17 range of motorcycles at this year’s EICMA. Motorcycles such as Ninja 650, Z650 and Z900 were uncovered for the first time by the Japanese motorcycle maker, and now the company has also released an official video revealing closer details on the bike. The bike as seen in the pictures has gone through a plethora of changes. Following the 'Z' philosophy, the Z900 looks more insane than its predecessor.
The first and most importantly, the Z900 is set to replace Kawasaki’s current middle-weight naked street fighter, the Z800. Talking about the engine, the bike draws it power from a 948cc engine that is built on the Z1000 platform. Compared to its predecessor, the Z900 makes 15bhp more and the total power tops at 125bhp. With the use of a new steel trellis frame, the bike has lost significant weight and now weighs 443lbs.
The bike should be available in India around mid-207 and when launched, it will go head to head against motorcycles like Triumph Street Triple, Ducati Monster 821, Yamaha FZ-09 and Benelli TNT 899.
Kawasaki Z900 price
When launched we expect it to be priced in a bracket starting from Rs 8.5 lakh to Rs 9.5 lakh. We have attached the official Kawasaki Z900 video that showcases all the new features and upgrades over the current Z800. Stay tuned for more.
