Hollywood's ace actor Keanu Reeves' dream project is christened KRGT1 and will be launched at USD 78000 price tag. The firm is called the ARCH Motorcycle Company and is formed in association with Gard Hollinger, founder of LA County Choprods, a custom motorcycle shop. The bike will be exclusively made at ARCH's Los Angeles area factory.
The association of Reeves and Holinger go back by 7 years when Keanu visited Gard looking for a custom bar for his stock V-Twin cruiser. Impressed by what Gard was doing with motorcycles, Keanu came up with an idea to build an all retro modern cruiser. The concept became a prototype soon and that initialized the formation of the ARCH Motorcycle company.
KRGT1 will be a 2032 cc V-Twin motorcycle and will be dubbed as retro modern. Ohlins fork, Race Tech shock, BST carbon fiber wheels, dual six-piston, radial-mount calipers, and completely customizable footpegs will be some of the offerings on the bike. ARCH is already taking pre orders and deposits from the customers. 90 days is what they are committing to deliver the bikes.
The philosophy of ARCH is 'Connecting the art and ride' and true to its motto, Gard had worked restlessly to make his and Keanu's dream come true. The bike will be high on aesthetics and reliability. Almost 300 machine hours are required to produce one bike. At least 200 odd parts are manufactured in house and other parts are supplied by vendors who share the same vision.
Giving the bike one look, one can definitely say that they succeeded in what they started.
