Kia Motors is all set to launch the 2020 Mohave SUV in the coming months. The company recently had released the official exterior images of the SUV, while the South-Korean website of Kia published the interior images a few days back. Being based on the Mohave Masterpiece Concept which was unveiled earlier this year in March at the 2019 Seoul Motor Show, Kia Mohave would have upmarket and advanced interiors, which are a big leap from the current model.
Going by the interior images, it can be seen that the SUV boasts of a dual-tone black and tan upholstery which is a drastic update from the older model. The dash is designed in dark wooden trim with premium chrome. The instrument cluster is also a new and contemporary unit identical to the other recent Kia cars such as Telluride. The centre console houses the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and air vents. The air vents are bigger than before and can be controlled via the infotainment system. Kia has kept the plastic buttons to the minimum which makes the SUV a exquisite and premium one. Other features include dual-zone climate control system, twin cup holders, drive mode selector and ventilated seats.
The Kia Mohave will be powered by the 3.0L V6 turbocharged diesel engine which will develop top power of 356bhp and peak torque of 560Nm. The power will be transmitted to all the four wheel via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV could also be introduced in the Indian market by 2021, depending upon the response to the recently launched Seltos SUV.
