Kia changes its current logo by ushering in a new design.
The new logo displays the name KIA in a bold connecting font slanting towards the right.
At present, the new Kia logo is visible in its trademark applications.
Change is always seen as a sign of progress. The Korean carmaker Kia has introduced a new logo to showcase its development and represent its future plans. This exciting logo is visible on all new Kia trademark applications. However, the Kia spokesperson has not indicated any decision about the renewed corporate identity (CI). It is also not sure whether the new logo will replace the existing Kia badge.
The current Kia logo has the alphabets KIA arranged in unconnected upright lettering perched inside an oval border design of the same colour. In contrast, the new design connects the alphabets with a pronounced right slant.
When contacted, Kia’s spokesperson stated that it is Kia’s tradition to explore different means of enhancing its brand image.
Though the new logo might not be a part of the latest models immediately, it can serve as a logo for its future products such as Kia services and concept cars. The Futuron and the Imagine concepts sport a similar logo.
Recently, Kia Motors celebrated the grand inauguration of its production facility in the country. With the encouraging sales performance of the Kia Seltos, Kia has graduated to become the 4th largest automobile manufacturer in India. A couple of Kia models are waiting in the pipeline for a launch very soon in 2020. They are the MPV, Kia Carnival and a sub-4-metre SUV codenamed as QYI.
There will be no change in the logo design of Kia for its production cars immediately.
