It is not long since Mahindra Two Wheelers discontinued the Duro and the Pantero from their line up here in India and within a short span of few weeks, Mahindra Two Wheelers has also removed Kine and Flyte scooters from their existing lineup. As we reported earlier Mahindra’s sales figures are rolling down the line from past few months and may be Mahindra is working on a new strategy to get back in game which made them pull off low selling models from their current line–up.
The Kine was one of the oldest scooters in Mahindra two Wheeler’s line-up on the other hand Flyte was one of the latest ones. Flyte was a decent scooter in terms of looks but it was not enough to compete against well know Honda Activa, Suzuki Swish and other scooters. Now according to Mahindra Two Wheelers official webpage the company is selling only two gearless scooters, Gusto and Rodeo UZO 125, and only a single model Centuro with five different variants such as Centuro NXT, Centuro Rockstar, Centuro XT, Centuro Rockstar Kick Alloy and Centuro Disc Brake. According to the reports Mahindra is planning to launch their flagship motorcycle Mojo in next few months. Mojo looks promising right now, but only time will tell if it really helps Mahindra to get back in game.
