The on-road price of the newly launched KTM 200 Duke ABS model is out. KTM India has priced it at Rs 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and now the bike’s on-road price is pegged at Rs 1.90 lakh in Mumbai, according to sources.
The single-channel ABS is fitted on the front wheel. The rear wheel ABS is for RLP or rear wheel lift protection which ensures that the rear end is restricted from lifting when the rider jams on the front brake. The same feature is offered in the new KTM Duke 125 priced at Rs 1.18 lakhs.
The single-channel ABS-fitted KTM 200 Duke motorcycle units have already made its way into dealerships throughout India and deliveries will start soon.
Otherwise, in comparison, the KTM 200 Duke ABS is similar to the non-ABS model. The ABS variant comes with a rear mono-shock, a trellis frame and USD forks. The Duke 200 houses a 25hp, 199.5cc, single-cylinder engine and is presently KTM's best selling bike in India.
