The 2019 KTM 390 Adventure has been spotted testing in India for the first time. The new KTM adventure offering is based on the new gen Duke 390. KTM plans to launch the Adventure 390 bike in India in 2019.
The KTM Adventure 390 shares the same engine as on the 390 Duke, which is re-tuned and will come with an engine guard. The 373.2cc engine offers 43.5 bhp power and 37 Nm torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. The engine has also been tweaked for better low end and mid range torque curve while gear ratios have also been modified so as to be more capable in off-road performance.
KTM Adventure 390 draws design inspiration from the KTM 790 Adventure. It is seen with an all LED headlight, a short windshield, sleek looking fuel tank and raised tail segment. It also gets split seats and rear parcel rack. The Adventure 390 receives alloy wheels fitted with dual purpose Metzeler Tourance tyres.
It also gets an LCD TFT instrument cluster and smartphone connectivity along with ride-by-wire throttle. Suspension duties will be carried out via USD forks (adjustable) in the front and preload adjustable monoshock at the rear.
KTM Adventure 390 motorbike's 2019 launch in India was confirmed by KTM. Following the Duke 390, the Adventure 390 will also be manufactured in India by Bajaj. From Bajaj's Pune facility the motorcycles will be exported across the globe. It is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 3 lakhs on-road and will be pitted against the BMW G310GS and the Kawasaki Versys-X 300.
