The Austrian bike maker, KTM took the center stage at the EICMA show this year with the unveiling of the new 790 Duke and the 790 Adventure. The latter is based on the former’s engine platform and also shares many other major components. The bike showcased at the EICMA this year was also near production-ready version but it packed a few aftermarket performance parts including the full system Akrapovic exhaust unit which will not be seen in the production version.

The spotted bike was seen running on the stock exhaust, pannier bags, and long travel WP rally suspension. It has the same 799cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine as seen on the 790 Duke. Delivering 103bhp of maximum power and 86Nm of peak torque. Chances are that the company might re-tune the engine to match the bike’s character, delivery herculean bottom-end torque.

There is no word on the bike being brought to the Indian market as of yet and the chances are very slim. The only middle-weight motorcycle that KTM will be bringing to Indian market anytime soon will only be the KTM 790 Duke which will be launched by mid-2019.
