KTM AG, Europe’s largest bike manufacturer, is good to go to launch a range of bikes at the EICMA. The most anticipated motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer will be the 2017 KTM Duke 390 and Duke 125 series along with the all new 2017 KTM Duke 800 (Duke 790) parallel twin. As of late, KTM released a teaser video of the 2017 scope of KTM Duke family while the secret accentuated on “A new face is about to hit the streets” with the tagline “Are you Duke enough?”
The upcoming 2017 KTM Duke 800 (Duke 790) has been under development for quite some time now. The new Duke 800 is a completely new motorcycle that will be powered by an 800cc parallel twin engine. The all new KTM Duke 800 will be positioned above the Duke 690 and the motorcycle will go up against the likes of Kawasaki Z800, Triumph Street Triple, and Benelli TNT 899. The bike is likely to be based on an all new trellis frame chassis alongside a tubular sub-frame. In terms of looks and design the Duke 800 is sharply designed and houses very sharp details.
KTM is also likely to unveil the new 2017 KTM Duke 390 along with its siblings. The 390 is a very important product for India, as it already have quite a bit of fan following. It will come with completely new design language, improved power figures and new features. The new 2017 KTM Duke 390 gets new LED taillights while the bike is expected to get switchable riding modes. According to reports, the Duke 390 is likely to come with a secondary balancer shaft to minimise vibrations. This time the engine is better for the world and it is now BS4 compliant. The all new 2017 KTM Duke 390 is likely to come with a single cylinder 373cc engine that can produce 43.5 BHP of maximum power and 35 Nm of maximum torque.
