KTM, which is known worldwide for its motorcycle that love dirt more than the tarmac, has decided to gift the mud-slingers the most powerful adventure motorcycle till date. The 1290 Super Adventure will share many of the elements from its younger sibling - the 1190 Adventure. However, the addition is not only of displacement but also of more fuel carrying capacity.

The KTM website reads, “The Super Adventure features a bigger engine capacity to increase power and torque. An incredibly large fuel tank will mean long durations before the need to stop; perfect for when the journey is long or so addictive that the rider just doesn’t want to get off the saddle.”

The technology would also be top notch as the bike will flaunt safety measures like an ABS (which works while cornering too) and a Bosch developed Motorcycle Stability Control. The Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) will come preset with a bunch of options which will make sure that the riding quality doesn't get affected.

The bike ideally should have a detuned version of its devastatingly powerful engine that propels the Super Duke 1290 R, but nothing can be said for sure before the motorcycle gets officially launched on September 30 at the Intermot Show in Cologne, Germany.

Well, it seems that finally something has arrived which can pose some threat to the legends out there like the BMW R 1200GS,Triumph Tiger Explorer and Ducati Multistrada.
