Lamborghini will launch the new Lamborghini Evo on 7th February 2019 in India. It is a revamped version of the Lamborghini Huracán with new design and style, greater power and more efficient aerodynamics.
The new Huracan Evo’s external updates feature a new rear bumper, diffuser, front bumper, twin exhaust pipes placed higher up the rear end in comparison with its previous model, new integrated ducktail spoiler to balance downforce and drag and a slippery underbody.
The powerful engine is a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 motor that churns 640HP – 30HP more than its predecessor and 600Nm of peak torque. It can do a 100kph in 2.9 seconds and 0-200kph in 9.0 seconds. The Huracan Evo top speed remains at 323.5 km/hr.
Lamborghini has brought a new chassis control technology known as the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI). This new system can control every aspect of the car's dynamics. For example, its sensors can continuously observe the car's speed, acceleration, pitch roll, yaw rate and predicts driver’s actions. It has also been equipped with a new magnetorheological damper.
The all-wheel-drive system with advanced torque vectoring lets power to flow to any of the four wheels. Lamborghini has improved the dynamic steering technology to let more responsiveness on corners that demand the least steering angles.
Internal changes in the Huracán Evo features a new 8.4-inch capacitive touchscreen, infotainment unit boasts of Apple CarPlay, climate control and enhanced voice command system. A dual-camera telemetry system with a high-capacity hard disk is optional.
The price of the new Huracán is expected to be around Rs 3.4 crore. The official announcement is awaited until 7th February 2019.
