Lamborghini has launched the Huracan Spyder at a sticker price of Rs. 3.89 Crores (Ex. Showroom) in India. It is the third Huracan derivative to be launched in the country after the Italian supercar maker launched the RWD Huracan in November 2015. Lamborghini Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 is identical to the standard version of the supercar, except for the retractable roof. In addition, the company inaugurated a new dealership in Prabhdevi, Mumbai.
The Huracan Spyder is a replacement to the Gallardo Spyder. It gets the same designing elements as the coupe sibling like W-shaped LED daytime running headlamps, fabric soft-top and larger air-inlets on the front bumper. The soft-top is being offered in several colors, and it can be opened and closed in just 17 seconds upto the speed of 50kmph. Underpinning a light-weight architecture comprising of aluminium and carbon fiber, the convertible supercar can be customised in over 30,000 ways. The interior cabin is borrowed from the Huracan coupe with features like Audi's virtual cockpit, flat-bottomed steering wheel, and Alcantra seat upholstery.
Under the hood, Lamborghini Huracan Spyder has the naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 engine, which develops a maximum power of 610bhp and peak torque of 560Nm. It is linked to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while doing the 0-100kmph sprint and 0-200kmph sprint in just 3.4 seconds and 10 seconds, respectively. Just so you know, it is a bit slower than the Huracan coupe as it sprints from standstill to 100kmph in merely 3.2 seconds. The Huracan Spyder has an electronically limited top speed of 342kmph.
